Lange-Taylor Prize A $10,000 award from the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, promoting the collaboration between a writer and a photographer in a documentary project. All subjects welcome. Kodak International Newspaper Snapshot Awards (KINSA) Since 1935, The KODAK International Newspaper Snapshot Awards (KINSA) have spotlighted the finest in amateur photography. This contest is co-sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company and over 200 participating newspapers across the United States and Canada, and around the world. POY: The Pictures of the Year POY is one of the oldest, largest and most highly respected photojournalism contests in the world. NPPA Best of... National Press Photographer's Association (USA) anual awards, featuring categories from sports to features, started in 2002. World Press Photo International award with 22 categories, including sport, the arts, science, people and spot news. Winning entries are published each year in a book, and an exhibition tours worldwide throughout the year. Leica Medal of Excellence International competion for professional photographers, with a prize of 5000 Euros, and an exhibition of the winning photo essay in New York. Eisie Awards The Alfred Eisenstaedt Awards for Magazine Photography: administered by the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University, under a grant from LIFE magazine, in recognition of excellence in American magazine photography and to honor the memory and spirit of Alfred Eisenstaedt, a pioneer of photojournalism. John Kobal Photographic Portrait Award Showcase for new talent in portrait photography organised by the National Portrait Gallery. International Sport Photos Competition Sport photos of the year is an international photo competition jointly organized by L'Équipe newspaper and the Olympic Museum Lausanne, open to professional photographers covering national or international sport events. ICP Infinity Awards for Excellence in Photography Founded in 1984, the Infinity Awards are dedicated to recognizing the contributions of influential photographers and honoring emerging young talent. |
